Phonographic Industry says Coldplay’s Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends sold the most copies at 2.1 million in the U.S and 6.8 million around the world. The catchy Brits also set a new record for digital downloads in the first month. Apparently, the second largest seller in the world was AC/DC’s Black Ice, followed by Mamma Mia! Soundtrack. What was the most popular digital single? Lil Wayne aka Young Jeezy’s “Lollipop.” What does this say about popular music interests? Lollipop’s are fun?
