Braking the Cycle 2012!

On the 17th of April, Housing Works Bookstore Cafe, at 126 Crosby Street, is hosting a celebratory kick-off party for this years Braking the Cycle.

Braking the Cycle is three-day long civil cycling extravaganza. From the 28th to the 30th of september, participants will cycle from Boston to New York City in order to raise money, benefit the organisation Housing Works and fight the struggle against AIDS and homelessness. Housing Works organises itself to help people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Concerned with the dual crisis of homelessness and AIDS, Housing Works focuses itself with dedication to providing life aiding service and looking for entrepreneurial business ventures to reach their aim of making a difference.

On April 17th there is the opportunity to get more info about Housing Works’ lifesaving services, learn about the ride, register to participate, and meet some of your fellow riders. There is also a cafe as well as some complimentary snacks.

See you there!
