Dynasty Electric- Burning EP
Dynasty Electric’s debut EP, Burning, is undeniably an album that would draw wide audiences with its highly energetic pop sound that would get even pop music haters dancing. The album consists of seven electrifying pop tracks with quite a distinctive flare in their use of experimental futuristic sounds.
Opening with "Closer to Contact," a bouncy, highly energetic pop song with a futuristic feel. A lot of the group's sound is inspired by their love for sci-fi. These futuristic like tunes sound like those robot characters in sci-fi films. You can hear them in quite a bit of the album's tracks including "Burning," one of the more energetic songs that consists of impressive percussion, the use of loops and delays and poppy beats.
"Move My Feet," is a sizzling psychedelic song with funky sounds like the sound of a vinyl record spinning. Strong percussion overwhelms this song, speeding up the pace of the song and really bringing it to life. "Something Good," has a rock ’n’ roll feel to it with its combination of percussion and electric guitar riffs. But what really makes this song is its catchy chorus due to Jennifer DeVeau strong and sensual voice.
Dynasty Electric is a group that really can't be compared to any other. Their psychedelic pop/rock sound stands out from most bands with their futuristic beats and seductive vocals. If ’60s era psychedelic rock merged with futuristic experimental pop this is exactly how it would sound.
